Solution 01:

If copying and pasting from a remote computer don’t work, clipboard redirection might be disabled. To fix this, disconnect your Remote Desktop session, and then do this:

Open Remote Desktop Connection by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Remote Desktop Connection.

Click Options, click the Local Resources tab, and then, under Local devices and resources, select the Clipboard check box.

Depending on the policies of your network and the version of Windows that is running on the remote computer, this procedure might not work with some Remote Desktop connections.

Click the dropdown option for the Secure Data Backup and Update it from No Change–>Daily Data Backup. Then click continue and pay the invoice. The Upgrade/downgrade order will be placed.

First, log in as Administrator user to your Windows Server 2012 R2. Then press Ctrl+Alt+End all 3 buttons at once. This will show you the option to change your password. You can see that in the image below.

For Mac: CRTL+ALT+DEL

Click the Change a password option. It will take you to the window to set a new password. Enter your old password and your new password as shown in the image and press enter for it to take effect.

You can logout and login using the new password now.
Some tips for setting a new password:

  • The new password should be of at least 10 characters
  • Use a combination of number, uppercase, lowercase, and special characters
  • Do not use the previously used password
  • Do not include your first name, last name, or birth date in the password to make it more secure
