What is your SPAM policy for Business Email Hosting?
Ans: We have zero tolerance for SPAM. You can’t send unsolicited / bulk emails and spam. “Safe lists”, purchased lists or selling of lists will be treated as spam as well. We may terminate accounts identified as ‘spammers’ without prior notice.
Do you allow marketing emails?
Ans: We prioritize our customer’s trust by ensuring their emails reach inboxes instead of spam folders. To achieve this, our foremost commitment is to maintain a platform free from email marketers. It has come to our attention that some individuals perceive this policy as an opportunity to exploit our platform discreetly. However, we are vigilant and will detect such attempts. Negative reviews often stem from violations of this fundamental principle.
What are the service limits?
Ans: We want to clarify a few points.
Our primary goal is to ensure that your intended emails reach recipients’ inboxes rather than spam folders, whenever feasible. Achieving this means preventing excessive sending practices, such as sending the same email to a Gmail address 600 times within one hour.
Therefore, we have established certain limits. Here they are:
1. 100 outbound emails per hour, per email address. You should not send from multiple addresses just to get around this limit. You can and should separate different use cases, which may cause you to exceed 100 per hour over multiple email addresses, so long as they are legitimate use cases and not an obvious workaround (i.e. sender1, sender2, sender3 all sending the same email campaign).
2. No marketing. This means that the service does not allow the use of its email delivery for marketing purposes. In other words, you cannot use the service to send promotional or advertising emails or any other form of marketing communication.
3. No unsolicited marketing. Users must not send promotional emails without the recipient’s consent. Unsolicited marketing can harm the sender’s reputation, breach anti-spam laws, and reduce email deliverability. Obtaining explicit consent from recipients is vital for compliance and trust, promoting ethical and responsible email marketing practices.
4. Compliance with regulations. Users must adhere to relevant laws and regulations governing email communication, including but not limited to anti-spam laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.
5. Respect for recipient preferences. Users should honor recipient preferences, such as unsubscribe requests, promptly and without exception. Providing recipients with the option to opt out of receiving further communication is essential for maintaining trust and compliance with email regulations.
